Northwestern Swim Club was founded in 2008 to provide a club swimming opportunity for college students at Northwestern University.
We hold 3-4 swim practices per week at Norris Aquatics Center and a weekly dryland practice at SPAC. Throughout the year, we drive or fly to compete in around 4-5 away meets against other universities, including the College Club Swimming National Championships in the spring. Additionally, we host our annual Rubber Ducky Invitational each winter.
Our team has a large range of experience, with swimmers who previously swam on club teams, high school teams, or are just excited to try something new! During practice, swimmers can choose between an advanced, intermediate or beginner set, depending on skill level and preference.
In addition to practices and meets, we strive to build our community through numerous other events. These include holiday celebrations, quarterly formals, fundraising events, and many more!
Practices, meets, and social events are all optional! You can participate in as many activities as you'd like. Of course, we’d love for you to be as active in our club as you want to be!
