Northwestern Swim Club was founded to provide a club swimming opportunity for college students at Northwestern University. We have three practices per week, swimming at Norris Aquatics Center, and have an additional dryland practice at SPAC. Throughout the year, we drive or fly to compete in around 3-5 away meets against other universities, and we host our annual Rubber Ducky Invitational each winter.
Our practices are open to swimmers of all levels! Our team has a large range of experience, with swimmers who previously swam on a club team, their high school team, or are just excited to try something new. During practice, swimmers can chose between a higher intensity set or a more relaxed set, depending on your personal skill level and preference for that day.
In addition to practices and meets, we strive to build our community through numerous other events. These include holiday celebrations, a quarterly formal, fundraising events, and many more!
Practices, meets, and social events are all optional! You can participate in as many activities as you'd like. Of course, we’d love for you to be as active in our club as you want to be!
